From Our Customers

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts.

  • The establishment is nothing short of extraordinary. Start the evening off with a drink at the bar, I prefer a top-shelf scotch, neat.   The dining room allows for groups or more intimate seating if you have any preferences make that known upon placing your reservations.
The appetizers are all excellent, I prefer a Caesar salad with ranch dressing, they will provide assorted bread.  The steak is phenomenal, I enjoy the filet mignon, rare with a side of béarnaise with my steak. The side selections are all excellent but the au gratin potatoes are by far some of the best I have ever had, they are cheesy to the point of exceptionally balanced.  The service is always wonderful, they celebrate you if there is any special occasion you may be celebrating, just let them know.
They also offer wine flights such as the generous pour each year which I truly enjoy.  If available they also offer wine lockers, for a fee of course, but always a great option to ensure your wine is readily available. Cheers!!

  • If I could give 10 stars, I would. This place is a gem and we frequent here before events at the Center and make a point to go during Restaurant Week for the best deal in town! Where else could you spend $35 and get an 8oz premium beef filet, starter, and dessert?

    Nowhere. 🙂

We went a different route this time and shared the salmon and filet entrees which were our version of surf and turf. The salmon surpassed all of my expectations. This is coming from someone that used to live in Alaska and knows what fresh salmon should taste like.

The salads are always fresh and the desserts are solid. This time they had a Duckhorn wine event happening so we opted to taste the various wines which was so fun! It was also a decent value with a price tag of only $28.

  • This place is terrific. I suspected it was going to be good, but they really hit it out of the park.

We had a seating a 8 for 4 people and arrived a little early, found a great parking spot right on the street.  We didn’t’ really know what to expect and we were seated immediately and given the lay of the land before our friends arrived.  I said on my way there, “I’m going to try something I’ve never tried before.”

This is big cuz I’m a picky eater.

And try new stuff I did. Of the 6 courses, I liked all but one.  That was a fish app, but that was about me, not the fish.

I did the wine pairing for extra and they seemed well matched to me. I don’t know much about wine, I only know what I like.

    The coffee was fantastic!

  • This was one of my top two dining experiences of my life. Each of the 6 courses was perfection, presenting each ingredient in a way that celebrates it in its best form. My favorites were the tomato brodo and the Fra Diavolo, but it’s hard to pick a favorite when everything is that scrumptious.

On top of the delicious dishes, the service was above and beyond expectations. We ordered the wine pairing, which was all great complements to the food.  Our wines were always topped off if we happened to finish before the coursing was done, which was a nice touch. Pricing for the size and quality was excellent. We are counting down the days until we can go back.

  • What a cute, cozy neighborhood restaurant! We were delighted that we could eat outside with our dog. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and she suggested a special gnocchi and shrimp dish the Chef had prepared that day. It was wonderful! We also shared the steak tartar and enjoyed it as well.

The three of us each loved our dishes.

My steak frittes was splendid. Hubby had pistachio encrusted pork tenderloin and nearly licked his plate clean.

Daughter had the bucatini and raved that it was reminiscent of her recent Italy trip. Dessert was ice cream on a pavlova (meringue cake) drizzled with fresh mango and mint. The executive chef and the owner both stopped to check in with us.

We loved everything. We will be back!

  • Hidden Gem. A great neighborhood kinda European-style bistro. Best steak fritters and tartare in town, and reasonably priced.

It also not fussy looking like other similarly priced restaurants, just real good food.

The service staff will probably remember your name.. Katie is great, and the owner will probably be talking with customers here and there.

I started going a few months ago and now it’s in my regular dining circuit.
